Privacy notice
Last updated: 28 October 2026
This notice explains which personal data Sigun GmbH processes when you use www.siguntech.de, why we use it and what rights you have under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG). The German version is the authoritative one.
Who we are
The controller of your personal data is Sigun GmbH, Friedrich-Ebert-Anlage 36, 60325 Frankfurt am Main, Germany.

Please use these details for any question about this notice or about your data.
When you visit the website
When you open a page, the server that hosts the website, run for us by a hosting provider in the European Economic Area (EEA), receives what every browser sends: your IP address, the date and time, the page you asked for, the page you came from, and your browser and operating system.
We use these data to deliver the website and keep it secure and working. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). The server logs are kept only as long as they are needed for these purposes and then deleted.
The website’s fonts and scripts come from our own server. Until you allow the services described under “Cookies and similar technologies”, opening a page sends no data to other companies.
When you contact us
If you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address, subject and message. If you email or call us, we receive the details you give us. We use them to answer you and to deal with any follow-up. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering enquiries or, where your enquiry is about a contract, taking steps at your request before entering into one (Article 6(1)(f) and (b) GDPR). You do not have to give us these data, but without them we cannot reply.
The form delivers your message to our mailbox through MailerSend, Inc., which processes it on our behalf (Article 28 GDPR) in data centres in the European Union.
To keep automated spam out, the form uses Cloudflare Turnstile from Cloudflare, Inc. It loads only on the contact page and checks technical signals from your browser, such as your IP address and browser type. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in protecting the form from abuse (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
We keep your enquiry for as long as we need it to deal with it and any follow-up, and longer only where the law requires us to keep business records.
Cookies and similar technologies
We store your cookie choice in your browser’s local storage, so that we do not ask again on every page. This is strictly necessary to respect your choice and needs no consent (section 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG).
The following services load only if you select “Allow” in the cookie banner:
- Google Analytics shows us how the website is used, for example which pages are visited. It sets the cookies
_gaand_ga_*, which last up to two years. - Google Maps shows an interactive map on the contact page. Google sets cookies when the map loads. Until then you see a static map image from our own server.
For users in the EEA, both services are provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Our legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and section 25(1) TDDDG). You can withdraw it at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page. Withdrawing removes the analytics cookies and does not affect what happened before.
Links to other websites
Our pages link to other websites, such as LinkedIn. No data is sent to them unless you follow the link; after that, their own privacy notices apply.
Who receives your data
Apart from our own staff, only the service providers named in this notice receive your data: our hosting provider, MailerSend and Cloudflare, and Google if you have allowed it. We do not sell your data, and we disclose it to public authorities only where the law requires us to.
Transfers outside the EEA
Our hosting provider and MailerSend’s data centres are in the EEA. Cloudflare, Google and MailerSend are US companies and may process data in the United States. They are certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, for which the European Commission has adopted an adequacy decision (Article 45 GDPR).
Your rights
You have the right to:
- get a copy of your personal data (access, Article 15 GDPR);
- have inaccurate data corrected (Article 16 GDPR);
- have your data erased (Article 17 GDPR);
- have its use restricted (Article 18 GDPR);
- receive the data you gave us in a machine-readable format (portability, Article 20 GDPR);
- withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting what happened before (Article 7(3) GDPR).
Right to object (Article 21 GDPR): where we use your data based on legitimate interests, you can object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation.
Write to info@sigun-tech.de. We reply within one month and may ask you to confirm your identity. Using your rights is free of charge.
We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing that have legal or similarly significant effects (Article 22 GDPR).
Complaints
You have the right to complain to any data protection supervisory authority (Article 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for us is the Hessian Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (Der Hessische Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit), Gustav-Stresemann-Ring 1, 65189 Wiesbaden, Germany, datenschutz.hessen.de.
